(Kaiserliche Marine Ärmelabzeichen für Maschinengewehr-Scharfschützen). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, consisting of a raised MG-08 inside of a ribbed oval border, affixed to a magnetic metal backplate with all six attachment prongs intact, the backplate maker marked “C.E. JUNCKER, ALTE JAKOBSTR., BERLIN”, set on a field-grey wool patch, unmarked, measuring 84 mm (w) x 56 mm (h) (inclusive of wool backer), some oxidation of the metal is evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
