FANTERIA. CASALE", with a plaque below the insignia enrgraved "CORSO UFF. F.G.C. / 1937 - XV - II -", reverse illustrating four charging soldiers armed with rifles, engraver marked "S.J." (Stefano Johnson of Milan), with battle honours inscribed "S. LVCIA.-SFORZESCA-S.MARTINO-M.PODGORA / LVCINICO-CALVARIO-GORIZIA-VERTOIBA / VAL D'ASSA-GHELPAC-KABERLABA / M.PANOCCIO-M.BELMONTE / PIAVE-VITTORIO VENETO" below, measuring 26 mm (w) x 30.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, scattered gilt wear, spotting).
