(ОРДЕНЪ ЗА ГРАЖДАНСКА ЗАСЛУГА IV CIII). Instituted in 1891.Type II with Imperial Crown (1908-1944). In silver gilt with red, green and white enamels, measuring 47 mm (w) x 75 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, intact enamels, large rosette on its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, red dimpled paper exterior on all sides, stamped with the Imperial Crown and inscribed "ОРДЕНЪ ЗА ГРАЖДАНСКА ЗАСЛУГА IV CIII." in gold-coloured ink on the lid, the inside lid lined in off-white embroidered fabric and padded, a white cardboard insert placed within the base and housing a recessed medal bed in black felt, latch closure, measuring 60 mm (w) x 125 mm (h) x 29.5 mm (d), edge wear and scuffing evident on the exterior, case better than very fine.
