Germany, Federal Republic. A 1953 St. George Cast Iron Wall Plaque, by Buderus

(Sankt Georg Plakette). Constructed of blackened magnetic cast iron, the obverse with a detailed depiction of a mounted St. George slaying a dragon, above a date of “1953”, the reverse with a suspension loop, stamped with a maker’s mark of “BUDERUS” with the firm’s anchor logo, measuring 144 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
