Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, affixed to a bronze backplate with horizontal pinback and a red wool reverse liner, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, the reverse with a raised number of “25” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 39.80 mm (w) x 44.52 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
