(NSKK Führerdolch). An NSKK dagger measuring 370 mm in length when inserted into the scabbard, featuring a 220 mm-long nickel-plated magnetic metal blade with a sharpened tip and semi-sharpened edge. The obverse of the blade bears an acid-etched inscription of “ALLES FÜR DEUTSCHLAND” (“EVERYTHING FOR GERMANY”), while the reverse displays a maker’s mark of “HACO, BERLIN” near the ricasso. The blade sits firmly within the nickel-plated upper crossguard, the reverse of which is stamped with a letter “B” for NSKK Gruppe Berlin-Brandenburg. The crossguard bears eight notches, with four at both the top and bottom. The wooden handle shows only minimal, age-appropriate shrinkage along its seam with the crossguard, with the obverse inset with a magnetic metal German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 25 mm (w) x 15 mm (h). It is also inset with a magnetic metal Sturmabteilung (SA) insignia, measuring 9 mm in diameter.
The dagger completes with a zink-plated lower crossguard, similarly bearing eight notches, and held in place by a magnetic metal pommel nut that securely maintains the structural integrity of the dagger. It is accompanied by its period original scabbard, constructed of black-painted magnetic metal and bearing three nickel-plated adornments held in place by rivets. The throat of the scabbard retains a functional spring catch, securely holding the dagger in place during storage. The scabbard also bear dual loops accommodating a magnetic metal chain. Both ends of the chain features a functional spring clip and completes in a hanger, decorated with an acorn flanked by oak leaves. The chain is composed of nine links bearing raised NSKK insignia, SA insignia, and sunwheel-style mobile swastikas. Running marks are evident to the blade, with age-appropriate material fatigue and oxidation apparent to the wood and and metal features, respectively. The dagger hanger spring clip is also no longer functional. The dagger is in overall fine condition.
