Germany, HJ. An EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle by F.W. Assmann & Söhne

(HJ Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse with a central raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing a raised inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, and code “M4/39”, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
