Germany, Weimar Republic. A 1930 Constitution Day Honour Medal

(Verfassungstag Ehrenpreis). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a German national eagle perched on top of a bridge, the reverse with an inscription of “EHRENPREIS DES REICHS-PRÄSIDENTEN” (“HONOUR PRIZE OF THE REICH PRESIDENT”), circumscribed by an inscription of “VERFASSUNGSTAG IM JAHRE DER RHEINLANDBEFREIUNG 1930” (“CONSTITUTION DATE IN THE YEAR OF THE RHINELAND’S LIBERATION 1930”), the reverse maker marked “P.”, measuring 80 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
