In browning copper, measuring 51.5 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), both lugs intact, very light contact, the top tip of the maple leaf bent forward slightly, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario under the authority of G.O. 86, July 1, 1915. The Battalion sailed October 16, 1915 aboard the S.S. Metagawa, under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel F.C. McCordick with a strength of 41 officers and 1,105 other ranks, arriving in England on the 25th. In England, the Battalion became the 35th Reserve Battalion and was subsequently absorbed into the 4th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
