Germany, DSV. A German Marksmanship Association (DSV) Small Honour Badge for Distunguished Shooting, Gold Grade

(Kleine Auszeichnung für Schießleistung in Gold). Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, consisting of an oak leaf wreath, with a central DSV eagle overlaid by a mobile swastika perched on top of a square target with an inscription of “D. SCH. V.”, on a double hanger with a green enameled clasp bearing crossed rifles on top of a target, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), some chipping of the enamels evident, in better than very fine condition.
