An Imperial German Army commemorative pocket knife, featuring dual retractable magnetic metal blades, one measuring 60 mm in length and the other 40 mm in length, both with sharpened tips and edges, the exterior case presents with a bronzed magnetic metal finish and features a central laurel wreath with dual standards, topped by a sword overlaid by a Stahlhelm and circumscribed by an inscription of “DER GOTT DER EISEN WACHSEN LIESS, DER WOLLTE KEINE KNECHTE” (“THE GOD WHO MADE IRON GROW DID NOT WANT SLAVES”) and “FRONT HEIL” (“FRONT GREETINGS”), measuring 20 mm (w) x 78 mm (h), a small piece of the metal siding has cracking and become dislodged, in overall better than very fine condition.
