Constructed of blackened aluminum, vertical pinback, the obverse consisting of a Sig rune overlaid by a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “FÜR LEISTUNGEN IN DER H.J.” (“FOR MERIT IN THE H.J.”), the reverse with an issue number of “54172”, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code “M1/101” for maker Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 30.03 mm (w) x 51.36 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
