Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of an Arrow Cross, the obverse with a central wreathed Bavarian lion rampant, the arms with an inscription of “DEN VETERANEN DES BAYER HEERES” (“TO THE VETERANS OF THE ARMY OF BAVARIA”), the reverse with a central wreathed Bavarian checkered flag motif, the arms with an inscription of “MAX. II KÖNIG VON BAYERN” (“MAX. II KING OF BAVARIA”), unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
