Germany. A Mixed Lot of Badges and Medals

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of five badges and medals, including a DRL Sports Badge, Bronze Grade, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse with initials “DRL” over a hollow background, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “WEINSTEIN, JENA”, measuring 39.5 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), evidence of period repair to the catch, in overall very fine condition; a War Commemorative Medal for Non-Combatants 1870/1871, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition; a Prussian State Fire Brigade 40-Year Long Service Badge, constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, missing its suspension loops, unmarked, measuring 33 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), in very fine condition; a Friedrich August Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with pentagonal backplace, the obverse with an inscription of “FRIEDRICH AUGUST MEDAILLE” surrounded by stylized oak leaves, the reverse with a monogram of Friedrich August inside of a laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 28.5 mm in diameter, and; a 1935-1936 NSDAP commemorative badge, constructed of porcelain and magnetic metal, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 36 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
