Estonia, Republic. An Order of the Estonian Red Cross, V Class Knight, c.1945

(Eesti Punase Risti teenetemaerk). Instituted in 1936. In silver gilt with red, white, blue and black enamels, measuring 38.3 mm (w) x 57.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, original six-sided folded ribbon with safety pin attachment, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, inside lid in white cotton, padded and bearing the "ROMAN TAVAST TALLINN" manufacturer's label, white cardboard insert placed within the base and incorporating a lightly soiled recessed medal bed in off-white felt, case near extremely fine.
