Footnote: Schützen Wilhelm Bienen was born on 31 May 1921 in Krefeld, Germany. He entered Wehrmacht service on 1 October 1940 and was assigned to Schützen-Ersatz-Kompanie 3/474. He continued to service with the Heer Reserves until records stop on 16 September 1941.
