In bronze, obverse illustrating a Spanish Conquistador and inscribed "LEIVA", reverse illustrating an infantry insignia consisting of a stylized "I" framed within the loop of a bugle, backed by crossed rifles and branches of laurel leaves, the bugle surmounted by the Royal crown, a plaque below inscribed "8 DICIEMBRE 1907" (December 8, 1907), with a branch of laurel leaves extending below the plaque, faintly hand-engraved "13 5 08" above the crown, measuring 40 mm in diameter, edge nicks, bruised, contact marks, residue in the recessed areas from cleaning, fine.
