A pair of Army of Occupation Medals, including one with a Korea Clasp, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse with a raised depiction of the Remagen Bridge topped by an inscription of “ARMY OF OCCUPATION”, the reverse with a raised depiction of Mount Fuji, overlaid by clouds and two sailing ships, above a date of “1945”, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, accompanied by a ribbon bar, affixed to a 35 mm-long aluminum backer, unmarked, also accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of card stock with a faux blue leather exterior, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 95 mm (l) x 12 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; one with a Japan Clasp, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse with a raised depiction of the Remagen Bridge topped by an inscription of “ARMY OF OCCUPATION”, the reverse with a raised depiction of Mount Fuji, overlaid by clouds and two sailing ships, above a date of “1945”, unmarked, measuring 32 mm in diameter, accompanied by a ribbon bar, affixed to a 35 mm-long bronzed backer with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, also accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of card stock with a faux blue leather exterior, with a manufacturer’s label bearing a stock number of “71-M-916-150” and a maker’s mark of “GENERAL PRODUCTS CO., PROVIDENCE R.I.”, measuring 55 mm (w) x 95 mm (l) x 12 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
