Germany, HJ. An EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle by F.W. Assmannn & Söhne

(HJ Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse with a central German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, marked with the logo of maker F.W. Assmann & Söhne, as well as a Reichszeugmeisterei logo and code “17”, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
