In browning copper, maker marked "O.B. ALLAN." on the reverse, measuring 36.5 mm (w) x 43.5 mm (h), all four prongs intact, very light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in New Westminster under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed November 1, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.D. Taylor with a strength of 32 officers and 954 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 30th Infantry Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
