Germany, Heer. An EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle, by Gustav Brehmer

(Heer Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse with a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, marked with the logo of maker Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), oxidation evident, in overall very fine condition.
