Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Badges

(Drittes Reich Abzeichen). A pair of badges, including a Wound Badge, Black Grade, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “93” for Richard Simm & Söhne, Gablonz, measuring 37.64 mm (w) x 45.09 mm (h), in near mint condition, and; a 1933 Nuremberg Rally badge, constructed of bronze, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 33.89 mm (w) x 51.88 mm (h), evidence of period repair visible to the pinback, in overall near extremely fine condition.
