(Frontflugspange für Aufklärer in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed feinzink, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel wreath joined at the bottom by a swastika, with a central leftward-facing eagle’s head, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 75.90 mm (w) x 25.30 mm (h), weighing 16.5 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
