(Heer Gürtel). A Heer EM/NCO’s belt and buckle, the former constructed of blackened leather, one end with an integrated magnetic metal hook, the opposite end with a reverse tongue bearing seven sets of dual eyelets, maker marked “HERM. FLOHR, CÖLN”, with a manufacture date of “1914” and a distribution date of “1915”, measuring 42 mm (w) x 985 mm (l), accompanied by a buckle, constructed of gilded and silvered bronze, the obverse with a central raised crown, within a ribbed border bearing a raised inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) with laurel branches, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), minor age-appropriate material fatigue is evident to the belt, along with scratching of the buckle, in overall better than very fine condition.
