Instituted in 1943. Two-piece construction, in gilt metal with red, white and purple enamels, number impressed "6288" on the reverse, measuring 44.5 mm (w) x 66.8 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, intact enamels, very light contact, original ribbon with pinback, accompanied by its 35.7 mm (w) x 10.5 mm (h) ribbon bar, near extremely fine.
