A lot of three medals, including a War Commemorative Medal 1870/71 for Combatants, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from a trapezoidal magnetic metal backplate with a horizontal pinback and period original length of ribbon, unmarked, measuring 28.96 mm in diameter, weighing 14.5 grams, repair evident to the suspension loop, in overall very fine condition; a Fire Brigade 40-Year Long Service Medal, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 29.62 mm (w) x 40.77 mm (h), weighing 13.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Baden 9-Year Long Service Medal, constructed of neusilber, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a wreathed monogram of Grand Duke Friedrich II, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”), above a number “9” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 30.88 mm in diameter, weighing 14.1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
