Germany, Luftwaffe. An Air-to-Ground Support Squadron Clasp, Bronze Grade, with 400 Hanger

(Frontflugspange für Transport und Luftlandflieger). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse with a central laurel wreath joined together at the bottom by a swastika, overlaid by crossed swords, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, with dual loops accommodating a hanger with a central number “400”, flanked on each side by laurel leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 76.11 mm (w) x 25.53 mm (h), weighing 18.9 grams, some loss of bronze finish evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
