Germany, NSDAP. An Ortsgruppenleiter Armband

(NSDAP Armband). An extremely well-preserved NSDAP Ortsgruppenleiter armband, constructed of red wool, trimmed with blue piping, the exterior bordered by golden threaded bands, bearing a machine-embroidered white cotton disc 75 mm in diameter, overlaid by a black machine-embroidered mobile swastika, outlined in golden threaded piping, pinned with a gilded zink rank pip bearing a central raised NSDAP-style German national eagle, with the circumference fully lined with a band bearing machine-embroidered gold bullion wire oak leaves, flanked on each side by dual golden threaded bands, the interior bearing an intact Reichszeigmeisterei (RZM) label with a maker’s code of “A4/148” and a secondary code of “056826”, measuring 133 mm (h) x 520 mm (l) as presented, one small patch of mothing is visible to the wool at approximately the 8 o’clock position of the white disc, in overall extremely fine condition.
