(Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung I. Klasse). Instituted 4 July 1868. (1868-1918 issue). Constructed of silver with gilt, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central gilt medallion bearing a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, the reverse with a central gilt medallion bearing a number “20” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 37.35 mm (w) x 42.17 mm (h), weighing 11.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition.
