Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a raised depiction of a German family flanked by an inscription of “VERTRIEBEN!” (“EXPELLED!”), the reverse with an inscription of “EHRENMÜNZE DER VOLKSSPENDE FÜR VERTEIBENE AUSLANDDEUTSCHE” (“HONOUR MEDALLION FOR THE CARE OF EXPELLED GERMANS”), above an inscription of “RÜCKWANDERERHILFE 1919” (“REGIMENTAL HELP 1919”), the obverse maker marked “F. HABERL”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
