Constructed of silver gilt, the obverse featuring two male portraits facing-left on the center, beneath of the inscription MERITO DOCENTE NAVAL (Naval Teaching Merit), on a pebbled background, plain reverse inscribed CREADA POR LEY DE 17 DE DIC 1945 (Created by Law of December 17, 1945), measuring 25.29 mm (w) x 37.36 mm (h), suspended by original I Class breast ribbon, light contact, extremely fine.
