A service tunic constructed of blue-grey wool, single-breasted, with a single row of five silvered, pebbled buttons, reverses maker marked FRIEDRICH LINDEN LÜDENSCHEID, running down the centre, meeting an equal number of reinforced button holes, with four patch pockets, each having pleats and rectangular flaps, each with a silvered, pebbled button, each sleeve features 16 cm-deep turnback cuffs, the collar is bordered in deep-red rayon coiled thread and presents collar tabs constructed of deep-red wool with three silvered wings on each, on a standard buckram core, each measuring approximately 40 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), with an embroidered Luftwaffe-style breast eagle pinned over the top of the right breast pocket, measuring 92 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), the interior of the tunic is lined with a grey cotton-blend lining, with an interior pocket over the left breast, maker marked with a black ink stamp reading C & O DRASSEL and the measurements 40 42 90 69 61, the tunic measures a total of 42 cm across the shoulders, 59 cm in the arms, and 71.5 cm in total length, with very little wear or mothing, and in better than extremely fine condition.
