An Augenschützer 42 (Eyeshield 42), constructed of four sections of yellow-green plastic with the plastic to plastic connections being made by sewing a strip of cloth tape over the outside of the seams, each end section has ventilation holes and a metal-trimmed eyelet for the adjustable elastic head strap, the outer edges are trimmed with black velvet tape to present the eyeshield from cutting the face, accompanied by a heavy dark green envelope, and in extremely fine condition.
