Germany, Wehrmacht. A Balloon Observer’s Badge, Bronze Grade, Post-1957 Reissue

(Ballonbeobachterabzeichen in Bronze). Constructed of bronze, the obverse depicting an an observation balloon bearing a Balkan Cross, inside an oval oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 41.61 mm (w) x 52.80 mm (h), weighing 35.2 grams, in near mint condition.
