Germany, Heer. A Marksmanship Lanyard Shield, Grades 5-8

(Heer Schützenschnur Abzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a central shield with crossed swords, the reverse with three of four attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 43.21 mm (w) x 57.30 mm (h), weighing 6.6 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
