M16 Double Decal Austrian Made Transitional Army Helmet

This clearly marked helmet retains about 95% of its smooth green transitional over-paint. This helmet has clear and crisp Wehrmacht eagle decal. The national tri-color shield decal has been officially painted over with thickly applied dark green reissue finish. All three liner retaining rivets and both extended ventilation side lugs are all intact. Interior of helmet has a really nice M31 pattern, tan leather liner which is fully intact with all fingers and original tie string. Liner is size marked 59 and handwritten owners initials A B. Chinstrap is complete and maker marked and dated 1930.Great example of a transitional.
