Austria-Hungary, Empire. A Marksmanship Badge for Machine Gunners, Hungarian Issue, c.1908

(Maschinengewehr-Schützenauszeichnung). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, overlaid by a central three-headed dragon breathing fire, topped by a Crown of St. Stephen, the reverse with an attachment prong, unmarked, measuring 44.60 mm in diameter, weighing 28.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
