A holster for a Luger pistol, constructed of two pieces of olive-drab canvas, secured together with a brown leather trimming held in place by a row of machine stitching and dual magnetic metal rivets, the reverse of the inner flap bearing dual brown leather straps forming a belt loop, while the top bears a brown leather strap with a buttonhole meeting a magnetic metal stud on the outer flap, securely holding the pistol in place during storage, one of the belt loops is marked with a manufacturer’s code of “EBD44” and an inspection mark of “WAA416” with a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 188 mm (w) x 255 mm (h), minor material fatigue evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
