Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Membership Badges

(Mitgliedsabzeichen). A pair of membership badges, including a NSDAP badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the obverse with a central white enameled disc bearing a black mobile swastika, within a ring of red enamels bearing an inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M125” for Rudolf Reiling, Pforzheim, measuring 23 mm in diameter, some flecking of enamels evident, in overall better than very fine condition, and; an Arbeitsdank badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, the obverse with a central white enameled oval overlaid by a black shovel bearing a mobile swastika, within a ring of red enamels bearing an inscription of “ARBEITS-DANK” (“LABOUR GRATITUDE”), unmarked, measuring 16 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
