Canada. A Royal Canadian Regiment Cigarette Case

In sterling silver, the front cover designed with a series of horizontal rules in an alternating pattern, with a 51.5 mm (w) x 51.7 mm (h) Royal Canadian Regiment cap badge in silvered and gilt bronze affixed in the centre, the interlocking initials "RSM" engraved within a vertical framed box at the upper left, the inside back cover with a sterling silver restraining bar, maker marked "MH" and marked 'STERLING", along with being hand engraved with the service number "529353" on the lip, hinged on the left side, push release closure on the right side, measuring 79.3 mm (w) x 117 (h) x 11.5 mm (d) not including the cap badge, contact marks and surface wear evident on the exterior, very fine.
