Germany, Weimar Republic. A City of Halle War Aid Table Medal

(Kriegsdenkmünze). Constructed of blackened magnetic iron, the obverse bearing a raised Heer soldier drawing a sabre, circumscribed by an inscription of “DANK DER STADT HALLE” (“GRATITUDE OF THE CITY OF HALLE”), above dates “1914-1918”, the reverse with a raised depiction of the Red Tower, circumscribed by an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSHILFE IHRER BÜRGER UND FRAUEN” (“FOR WAR ASSISTANCE OF YOUR CITIZENS AND WOMEN”), unmarked, measuring 79 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
