Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Duchy. A 1932 Medal for the Wedding of Princess Sybilla

(Erinnerungsmedaille Hochzeit Prinzessin Sybilla). Instituted 20 October 1932 by Duke Carl Eduard. (1932 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of Duke Carl Eduard, circumscribed by name and title, topped by a plaque bearing a date of “20. 10. 1932”, the reverse with a central raised depiction of the Saxe-Ernestine House Order, circumscribed by an inscription of “FIDELITER ET CONSTANTER” (“FAITHFUL AND STEADFAST”), unmarked, measuring 30.18 mm (w) x 36.40 mm (h), weighing 13.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
