Germany, Imperial. A Hannover Centenary Medal, c.1913

(Hannoversche Jubiläumsdenkmünze). Instituted 19 December 1903 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. (1913 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, with a central raised depiction of the Waterloo Column, the reverse with dates “26. MÄRZ 1813 - 26 MÄRZ 1913”, above a flag and laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 39.36 mm in diameter, weighing 33.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
