Germany, Heer. An EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle by Noelle & Hueck

(Heer Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked “N & H” for Noelle and Hueck, Lüdenscheid, with a date of “1942”, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
