Constructed of red wool with a buckram core, trimmed with crimson piping, the obverse pinned with four gilded zink rank pips and a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika of identical construction, with a gold bullion wire tresse, the reverse with an intact Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) label clearly bearing a primary code of “A4/147” and a secondary code of “257978”, measuring 50 mm (w) x 68 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
