(Heer Fotoalbum). A Heer commemorative photo album, constructed of a card stock inding with a tan-coloured canvas exterior liner, the cover with a gilt inscription of “ERINNERUNG AN MEINE DIENSTZEIT” (“MEMENTO OF MY SERVICE TIME”), above a grey Stahlhelm, the spine with four magnetic metal eyelets through which is loop a braided drawstring, the interior with 22 black card stock pages, each divided by a wax paper insert with spider web designs, featuring 117 black-and-white photographs, including some depicting the owner in a Heer Enlisted uniform, with further photographs of Heer personnel on parade, as well as several period reproduced photographs of public officials including AH, Paul von Hindenburg, and August von Mackensen, the reverse cover bearing a maker’s label inscribed “KÖNIG, BERLIN SW11, KLEINBEERENSTR. 21”, measuring 315 mm (w) x 220 mm (h), evidence of three missing photos, in overall near extremely fine condition.
