(Ostvolkmedaille II. Klasse in Gold mit Schwertern). Constructed of gilded feinzink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central rosette, within a laurel leaf wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centre, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “100” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 39.64 mm (w) x 45.56 mm (h), weighing 14.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
