In bronze gilt, maker marked "A. ZAMORA & SONS" (Angel Zamora & Sons) on the reverse, measuring 39.8 mm (w) x 43.7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, contact marks on the reverse, suspended from a hanger inscribed "MEDAL FOR HEROISM IN TIME OF DISASTER", with pinback, near extremely fine.
