Germany, Imperial. A 1915 Table Medal for Assistance to Prisoners of War

(Kriegsgefangener Denkmünze). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse with a raised perched German national eagle, the reverse with a sword plunging into a Hydra, flanked by an inscription of “HILF FÜR KRIEGSGEFANGENE DEUTSCHE 1915” (“ASSISTANCE FOR GERMAN PRISONERS OF WAR 1915”), unmarked, measuring 60.10 mm (w) x 88.61 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
