A Veteran’s Pilgrimage to Maria-Hilf, Amberg 1901 1911 Commemorative Medal, c. 1910, an ovular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears an image of the Virgin Mary holding baby Jesus, circumscribed with “VETERANEN WALLFAHRT NACH MARIA-HILF AMBERG 1901 1911” (VETERANS PILGRIMAGE TO MARIA-HILF AMBERG 1901 1911), the reverse bears the left-facing portrait of Prince Regent Luipold inscribed with “LUITPOLD PRINZ-REGENT VON BAYERN”, measuring 29.91 mm (w) x 42.51 mm (h), very fine.
